6yo Chechen Boy Sets 2 World Records For Push-Ups

This is the moment a six-year-old Chechen boy sets two new world records for press-ups before winning the praises of the region’s leader.

Little Rahim Kuriev from Chechnya carried out the highest number for continuous push-ups in one go, 4,618, and the highest number in two hours with 4,183.

Both world records were recorded at CSTRC( Chechen State TV and Radio Company ‘Grozny’) in the presence of the editor-in-chief of the Russian Book of Records, Stanislav Konenko.

Konenko presented the brawny boy with two certificates after his impressive achievements.

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov was quick to praise the record-setting boy on social media: “Our youngster Rahim Kuriev has set two new world records!”

According to reports, the six-year-old also holds the record for the most press-ups in two and a half hours, 3,202, and the most chin-ups, 330.

The boy’s dad said that Rahim has been playing sports and actively training since he was three years old.

Chechen leader Kadyrov added: “I am certain that he will continue to bring us joy with his records.

“Rahim has enough energy to keep going and has no plans to slow down. Keep it up!”
