This is the shocking moment three schoolgirls kick over several headstones in a cemetery.

The incident was filmed in the town of Shchigry in western Russia’s Kursk Oblast region after the girls finished school, and was later shared on social media where it has been viewed nearly 150,000 times.

In the video footage, two girls are seen kicking a headstone before eventually managing to send it topping forwards, exposing a hole that they excitedly investigate.

They then move onto another grave and do the same.

Reports said that the girls damaged six graves in total.

The girls, aged 13, 14 and 15, have been arrested and their parents will reportedly have to pay for the damage they caused.

The 14- and 15-year-old girls will both have to attend a behavioural course for juveniles, according to local media.

Netizen ‘Antokha Vasiliev’ said: “This is so awful to look at. Even though they are the ones kicking over the gravestone, somehow I feel ashamed for them.”

‘Svetlana Sekerina’ commented: “They are not children, they are first-class b*stards.”

‘Tatiana Sofych’ wrote. “Three childish idiots. Their parents should be ashamed of their actions.”
