Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is rumoured to be thinking of leaving the club for Juventus due after club president Florentino Perez reportedly refused to sign Paul Pogba.

France legend Zidane, 47, is reportedly considering leaving Real Madrid at the end of this season and moving to Juventus despite having a contract with the Spanish club giants until 2022 according to a report on French website ‘soccerlink.fr’.

The report, which is being picked up by international media, states the potential move is due to a bad relationship with Real Madrid president Perez, 72.

The reasons behind the reported rocky relation are after Perez “stubbornly refused to agree to Zinedine Zidane’s primary” transfer target, Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba, 26.

Another reason is after “Florentino Perez was talking with” Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho, 57, when Zidane was having a difficult start to the season and the former Manchester United boss was still in the process of looking for a club.

‘soccerlink.fr’ went on to claim: “The Marseille native was reportedly affected by these presidential decisions and even privately allegedly mentioned that he would leave for Juventus the day after a hypothetical LDC (Champions League) victory with Real because he was so tired of his relations with Perez.”

Zidane played at Juventus between 1996 to 2001 where he won Serie A in 1997 and 1998 before signing for the Spanish side where he would eventually retire in 2006.

Real Madrid sit top of La Liga with 46 points after their latest 1-0 victory over Real Valladolid yesterday (Sunday).

Los Blancos were recently crowned champions of the Spanish Supercup and are set to play Manchester City on 26th February in the Champions League Round of 16.

There have been no statements released by Zidane or Real Madrid.
