Police have arrested this suspected mugger who lost a piece of his tongue when he tried to kiss one of his victims and she bit back.

The suspect Wang, who was identified by his surname, had only been released from jail for 15 days when he mugged two female students late on 29th May.

Police in the city of Tongjiang in China’s north-eastern province of Heilongjiang received two reports in quick succession from the two female victims.

They both claimed to have been held at knifepoint by Wang, aged 25, who made off with their mobile phones and took nothing else.

However, it was also revealed that Wang tried to sneak in a cheeky kiss while mugging one of his victims.

The young woman, however, bit back and tore off the tip of Wang’s tongue.

Authorities tracked him down using traffic cameras and arrested him 10 hours after his double mugging.

“I wanted to kiss her, but she bit my tongue,” Wang told police upon arrest.

He added: “She bit the flesh off. I don’t know where it is.”

Investigators found bloodstained rubble in the alleyway outside Wang’s house, where he claimed to have spat blood from his mouth.

However, neither Wang nor the police were able to find the missing piece of his tongue.

It is unclear whether his victim had already disposed of it.

Wang remains in custody as investigations continue.
