Woman Shares Stunning Transformation From Morbidly Obese To Gorgeous Influencer

This beautiful woman has shared her extraordinary transformation from being obese to the point she nearly killed herself to being a gorgeous influencer and model.

Brazilian Monalisa Moura, 33, weighed a whopping 139 kilogrammes (21.9 st) at her lowest point, which was so heavy it resulted in her suffering joint problems.

The Rio de Janeiro native told news site UOL: “I was never thin as a child. But I became morbidly obese in 2014 after my second pregnancy.

“I had postpartum depression, I tried to commit suicide. In short, six months after the birth of my second child, I reached 139 kilogrammes.”

However, Monalisa knew it was time to act and got a sleeve gastrectomy – a surgical weight-loss procedure in which the stomach is reduced to about 15 percent of its original size.

She then managed to lose a massive 71 kilogrammes (11.2 st) in two years. Despite then weighing a healthy 69 kilogrammes (10.9 st), Monalisa believed she was still overweight.

She continued dieting, taking medication and fasting intermittently, but she then had a relapse and started eating heavily again. Within a year, she had put back on 32 kilogrammes (5.0 st).

Monalisa then discovered new medicines online that helped her to lose the weight she had put back on.

It is not clear which medicines she was referring to. However, she has promoted Garcinia cambogia, also known as the Malabar tamarind, on her Instagram page.

The tropical fruit is a popular weight-loss supplement that allegedly blocks the body’s ability to make fat and reduces appetite.

Now weighing 68 kilogrammes (10.7 st), Monalisa keeps in shape by dieting, exercising and taking medication that helps in eliminating fat, speeding up metabolism and reducing appetite.

She credits her transformation, which she says was difficult, to her strong willpower. She is now known for being a ‘muse’ of Flamengo, Brazil’s most popular football club.

Brazilian football clubs have muses – women supporters who appear at games and PR events. As they are like cheerleaders, only the best-looking women are ever invited to do the role.

Monalisa is also an influencer with a 199,000-strong following on Instagram, where she shares raunchy snaps of herself and promotes weight-loss supplements and tips.
