A pregnant beauty blogger kidnapped and violently beaten in a 24-hour torture session at a remote house by her estranged businessman husband has lost their baby.

He had apparently not realised his stunning influencer wife Aleksandra Polynova was pregnant when he kidnapped and started torturing her at the rural property, where he believed nobody would hear her screams.

The alleged attacker, businessman Dmitry Trapeznikov, 39, had refused to accept that his wife, also 39, wanted to separate and had filed for divorce.

But after she continually rejected his advances, he had started stalking her, before eventually kidnapping her.

The shocking incident of abuse that only ended when police tracked her using her mobile phone occurred in the city of Yekaterinburg in the Russian federal subject of Sverdlovsk Oblast on 22nd July.

According to the news website 360 Tv’s report, Trapeznikov had waited for after work and had grabbed her, threatening her with a weapon and forcing it into his Toyota Camry before taking her to a remote location.

There he beat Aleksandra for a whole day and kept her locked up throughout.

Her ordeal only ended when her worried mother raised the alarm with police, who quickly tracked down using her mobile phone.

Even then her husband almost got away with it, after he forced her to wear dark glasses and tell the police that everything was okay.

But believing that she was going to die anyway, she defied the threats and begged police officers for help once she was in front of them.

He was arrested, and she was taken to hospital where doctors diagnosed with a head injury in multiple haematomas and also confirmed that she had lost the baby.

Aleksandra also underwent surgery under general anaesthesia and received a blood transfusion.

According to 360 TV, she said, “When I woke up, I was told that I had been in the second month of pregnancy, I even did not know it, and it turns out that he had killed his own child.”

Aleksandra is still in the hospital, and has a long recovery ahead of her.

In a video posted by the blogger from her hospital bed she tells her followers: “Hello, I have just had a blood transfusion. At the moment I’m in a bad situation at the hospital. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I have had to go through.”

According to Komsomolskaya Pravda’s report, the couple’s relationship, who met four years ago and got married in a fairy tale ceremony, deteriorated when Trapeznikov became jealous and aggressive.

Aleksandra, who was often considering ending the marriage because of her estranged husband’s violent tendencies, eventually went through with her decision and walked out on the relationship two months before her eventual abduction.

Until two weeks before her kidnapping and torture, her estranged husband had repeatedly tried to contact her, apologizing and asking her to return home. However, when Aleksandra insisted on her decision, he had tracked her down and kidnapped her.

The Investigative Committee report noted: “Currently, in the criminal case, the implementation of measures for collecting and consolidating evidence continues. The scene of the incident was examined, several witnesses were questioned, a set of necessary examinations was appointed.”

During the investigation, it is planned to conduct a forensic psychiatric examination of the accused to determine his mental state. He will reportedly remain in custody until 23rd September.

It is unclear what charges he will face.
