Woman Achieves Lifelong Dream Of Skydiving For The First Time At 70

A high-spirited elderly woman who dreamt of exploring the skies has fulfilled her yearlong wish by going on a skydiving venture.

In a video shared by skydiving instructor Mr Li, the 70-year-old woman seen calmly completing a skydive above the city of Wanning, in China’s island province of Hainan, amid warm and sunny weather on 9th March.

In the clip, the unnamed elderly woman, dressed in orange clothing, was seen excitedly boarding a helicopter.

Then, another scene filmed during the flight showed her smiling as she waved to the camera and hyping herself up with her fists.

When the aircraft reached the height of 4,000 metres (13, 120 feet), she jumped off the helicopter along with her instructor.

Despite seemingly feeling a bit nervous at first, she waved two thumbs at the camera to show she enjoying herself.

Later, as they reached the ground, she could be seen hugging her instructor to express her thanks and bravely saluted te camera.

Li mentioned that when the woman was younger. She dreamt of becoming an astronaut, longing for the blue skies above.

Unwilling to leave any regrets behind. She bravely decided to go skydiving.

Li said the elderly woman displayed great courage, and her physical condition was also excellent.

He added: “She once dreamed of becoming an astronaut, and I am very honoured to accompany Grandma in fulfilling her dream.”
