A terrified student is recovering after she was mauled by a pack of stray dogs as she waited for a bus outside her university.

The scary scenes were filmed at Van Yuzuncu Yil University, in the city of Van, in the eastern Turkish province of the same name.

The student backs away from the stray animals and several other dogs run over to join their pack mates, surrounding her on the road outside the university.

The student then starts to run across the central reservation and at least six wild dogs give chase, apparently attacking her legs and bringing her to the ground at the end of the video.
