This is the viral moment a homeless man celebrates his birthday with his dogs on the street in touching footage that has wowed netizens on social media.

The footage, which has notched up over 560,000 views since being shared on Instagram two days ago, with many millions of reported views on other platforms, reportedly shows the homeless man living on the street somewhere in Colombia celebrating his birthday by eating some cake with his dogs.

The footage also shows the homeless man starting the party off by putting some tiny birthday hats on his two dogs, who can be seen lying comfortably, one at his feet and the other a couple of steps up . He begins singing happy birthday to himself and blows out a candle that he lights on a cake.

He then shares some cake with his dogs before crying and hugging them as the video ends.

The footage was reportedly first shared by a Twitter account identified by the user ‘SuavesLomitos’ where it had over 4.6 million views.

The man in the video has since been identified as a homeless man named ‘Choco’, who reportedly works every day to keep his dogs fed. It is currently unclear what Choco does to make money.

Since the footage has gone viral, a fundraising event has been organised in Bucaramanga called “For Choco and his hairy ones.”
