This is the viral moment seen by nearly 10 million people where a 14-year-old boy has enough of being bullied by two classmates at school and springs to his feet to beat them up.

The incident was filmed at a religious school in the town of Pasir Puteh in the northern Malaysian state of Kelantan and was later shared on Twitter by netizen ‘IloveyouIPOH’ where it has gone viral with over 8.5 million views and 55,000 retweets.

In the clip, the 14-year-old victim appears dejected as he sits on the floor while two boys torment and repeatedly kick and hit him.

After receiving a strong kick to the face, the victim springs to his feet and throws the bully to the ground before punching him.

The other bully tries to intervene, but he bounces off the angry victim who continues to pummel the boy, eventually kicking him so that his head bounces against the floor before he disappears out of the video frame.

After the incident, the teen victim filed a complaint with the police who brought 10 students into the police station for questioning, according to local media.

Police spokesman Abdullah Muhammad Piah said the 14-year-old victim was assaulted for refusing to obey the bullies’ instructions.

He added: “Unable to withstand the assault, the victim reacted by attacking one of the suspects.”

The teen’s dad Mohd Khairul Anuar Razak said it was the second time his son had been bullied by students at the Malaysian religious school.

He claimed the first incident took place earlier this year, but the family did not report it to the police because they settled the matter with the school.
