This is the moment a robbery-victim takes a running punch at the alleged thief and sends him flying into the road after reportedly tracking the man to retrieve his stolen items.

The incident was filmed in the city of San Miguel Petapa in the central Guatemalan department of Guatemala and the footage was shared on Facebook where it has been viewed 52,000 times.

According to local media, the victim was mugged by two men in the street and he managed to follow one of them before attacking the suspect and reclaiming his stolen items.

It is unclear if the local authorities are investigating the alleged robbery.

In the video footage, the suspect is seen walking along the roadside as he inspects items in his hands and throwing away the objects he does not want.

While he is distracted, a man is seen running towards him from the side before landing a crunching punch that sends the alleged thief flying into the road.

The pair then starts brawling in the middle of the street before the suspect seems to give up and walk away.

The victim returns to the dropped items on the road and apparently picks up the ones belonging to him.
