Uninsured Learner Driver Crashes Into Burger King

A learner driver has crashed his friend’s car into a Burger King in France.

The incident was reported in Saint-Mard in the Seine-et-Marne department in the north-central French region of Ile-de-France region in north-central France on the night of Sunday 29th November.

According to national newspaper Actu, the incident involved two youths, who have not been identified.

One of them said he had let his friend take the wheel to give him a driving lesson.

Reportedly, they told police in their statement that they missed a turn and drove straight into the Burger King, which was thankfully empty at the time.

According to the Gendarmes, as reported by Atu, the youth faces charges for the offences of endangering others, damaging other people’s property, driving without a licence and driving with an uninsured vehicle.

The Gendarme made a humorous post on Facebook saying: “If one of your relatives asks you to teach them how to drive, refer them to a driving school #FastFoodAndFurious.”

Netizen Hugues Demisiecle commented: “He did us a favour. Less junk food for a few days.”

According to national newspaper the Parisian, yesterday an Aston Martin, worth several hundred thousand euros, finished its illegal street race embedded in the facade of the Sidney Bechet municipal cultural centre in the southern suburbs of Paris.

The driver did not have a driver licence either.
