The first video shows for Russian soldiers walking in the snow before they suddenly run for cover and are hit by a Ukrainian kamikaze drone that appears to take out two of them.

The second piece of footage shows a Ukrainian kamikaze drone hitting a Russian position where two soldiers can be seen lying in the snow.

The third video shows a Ukrainian kamikaze drone honing in on its target and hitting a Russian position in a explosion.

The images were obtained from the combat unit Kurt and Company of the 28th Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday, 16th January, along with a statement saying: “Aerobomber unit from ‘Kurt and Company’ Hit strike!”

The images also relayed by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On Wednesday, 17th January, along with a statement saying: “A beautiful moment of defeating a group of enemy infantry with an FPV drone.”

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 18th January 2024. Russia had lost approximately 373,600 personnel, 6,147 tanks, 11,410 armoured combat vehicles, 8,835 artillery units, 966 multiple launch rocket systems. 653 air defence systems, 331 warplanes, 324 helicopters, 6,925 drones, 1,818 cruise missiles, 23 warships, 1 submarine, 11,794 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,380 units of special equipment.

Zelensky said, after returning from the World Economic Forum in Davos: “Ukraine needs an ambitious and proactive perspective so that the initiative lies within our country, not with the enemy, so that the end of the war depends on Ukrainian actions.

“The world supports those who have a certain perspective. And that is the fundamental task – to maintain the initiative so that we have the opportunity to become stronger.”
