Ukrainian Forces Destroy Russian Tank Worth USD 4.5 million

These images show a Ukrainian kamikaze drone destroying a Russian tank worth USD 4.5 million on the frontlines.

The footage shows the Ukrainian kamikaze drone honing in on its target and hitting it, causing a large explosion.

The images were obtained from the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Koshov Chieftain Ivan Sirk of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on Wednesday, 6th March, along with a statement saying: “Enchanting flight into the hatch of an enemy tank – BUPAK ‘HILLS’.

“When it comes to skill, we are talking about the crews of the HILLS UAV battalion of the 92nd Separate Mechanised Brigade! The FPV calculation guided the drone directly into the hatch of a USD 4.5 million [GBP 3.5 million] Russian T-90 tank.”

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 7th March 2024, Russia had lost approximately 421,430 personnel, 6,695 tanks, 12,779 armoured combat vehicles, 10,350 artillery units, 1,009 multiple launch rocket systems, 701 air defence systems, 347 warplanes, 325 helicopters, 7,963 drones, 1,919 cruise missiles, 26 warships, 1 submarine, 13,532 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,647 units of special equipment.

Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk, the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has said that the Ukrainian military is stabilising the battlefield and preparing units for future counter-offensives.
