Two Young Women Pals Die After Car Loses Grip On Corner And Hits Tree

These two young women have died in a tragic car crash after their vehicle lost grip going around a corner and hit an oncoming vehicle, before crashing into a tree.

The incident took place in the town of Argenta, which is located in the province of Ferrara, in north-eastern Italy on Tuesday 16th November.

Paola Carrozza, 21, and Marialuisa Sibilio, 20, died instantly in the accident, which saw the vehicle they were in lose traction in a corner before going into the opposite lane where after hitting another car, it hit a tree on the edge of the carriageway.

The young women’s funerals were held in different locations at 9:30am on Saturday 27th November. The 21-year-old Paola from Argenta leaves her parents Nicola and Lindita, her elder brother, her partner and three younger sisters, as well as relatives and many friends.

A third person who was in the car, named as Elisa Di Bona, is currently in hospital in serious condition. Marialuisa and Elisa worked in the same bar in Alfonsine, il Caffeino.

Marialuisa dreamed of being a teacher and was studying hard to achieve her goal, according to local media.
