This is the moment two men brutally fight in a packed metro carriage and the onlookers do not move to stop the brawl.

The incident took place on the metro system in Mexico City, the capital of Mexico and was recorded by an onlooker.

In the video, an unnamed man in a red coat can be seen walking up to another passenger and headbutting him. The pair then exchange blows before grappling each other as other passengers look on.

The two men then continue beating each other while travellers on the train try to protect themselves with their hands. The fight continues as the train stops and the door opens, reportedly after the emergency lever was pulled.

The man in the blue is then cornered and receives several blows from the man in red who is then taken off the train by a policewoman. The man in blue then walks off the train too.

Reports state that the two men were arrested for causing trouble on the train.

It is unclear if they have been charged for the incident or why the fight began.
