This is the moment a drunk partygoer puts both hands in the air as he balances on an eighth-floor window ledge but he loses his balance and is sent plummeting to the ground.

The tragic accident took place in the city of Magnitogorsk in Russia’s Chelyabinsk Oblast region and was recorded by an onlooker.

In the video, local resident Alexander Kriukov, 23, can be seen standing on the ledge of a window on the eighth floor of a block of flats.

The topless man puts both arms out and balances on the ledge before gripping back onto the wall.

It appears as though someone inside the flat, where there was a party being held, is holding onto him but at one point Kriukov loses his balance and is sent plummeting.

Local media report he fell onto the snowy courtyard below and his injuries were fatal.
Paramedics were sent tot he scene but pronounced the 23-year-old dead.

The case was transferred to the investigative committee but they are yet to comment on the incident.

Magnitogorsk is an industrial city by the Ural River. Its population is 407,775 according to the 2010 Census. The city occupies land in both Europe and Asia.
