This footage shows a British woman being run over and left howling in agony by a person who was reportedly trying to help her after a crash in which she was uninjured.

The British citizen, who has not been named but who reportedly lives in Didim in Aydin Province on the coast of western Turkey, was sitting on the pavement after crashing a three-wheeled electric motorcycle into another vehicle.

A person who was reportedly trying to help, who has not been named, tried to move the three-wheeled vehicle to one side but activated the throttle, causing the vehicle to shoot into the British woman as she sat on some steps.

Harrowing footage of the incident, which took place at night, shows the British woman crying out in pain as she is rammed and run over by the vehicle.

The vehicle was then reportedly lifted off her by passersby.

She reportedly survived the incident and was taken to hospital. There have been no further updates on her condition.
