A Texan man has been arrested for blasting his wife and mother dead with a 20-gauge shotgun because he was on “a lot of medication”.
The suspect called the police at around 10.15pm on Monday night (14th March) to report that he had shot two women at Gemini Village Apartments in the city of Waco in the US state of Texas.
The man, named as Adam James Gorski, 37, was found with the shotgun and he reportedly told officers that he was “on a lot of medication”.
He was arrested that night and taken to the McLennan County Jail.
The police said: “At approximately 10:23 p.m. officers responded to a shots-fired call near the 900 Block of Wooded Acres Dr.
“When officers arrived on scene there were two female victims with fatal gunshot wounds. Officers immediately began medical aid unfortunately their wounds were too severe and the females were pronounced dead on scene.
“The suspect was also on scene when officers arrived and he was taken to the McLennan County Jail.
“37-year-old Adam Gorski has been charged with two capital murder charges with the bonds set at USD 500,000 for each.
“The victims have been identified as the suspect’s wife, 39-year-old Kimberly Cheney Gorski, and the suspect’s mom, 61-year-old Teresa Vise.
“Through the initial investigation officers believe this is an isolated incident. Next of kin for both victims have been notified and this investigation is ongoing.”
