Man Who Shot Motorbike Cop Dies In Hail Of Bullets After High-Speed Chase

A cop killer died in a hail of bullets after shooting dead a motorcycle police officer and then fleeing in a car.

The violent incident happened when police received a call from locals to say that the police officer, later identified as Deputy Isaiah Cordero, appeared injured on 29th December.

When they arrived, they found that he had been shot, and he was taken to hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

The officers in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties began a manhunt for the suspect, who they had identified as William Shae McKay.

He was eventually located in San Bernardino County, and police gave chase to Riverside County, where the getaway car’s tyres were deflated using a spike.

Now, the footage of the incident has been obtained by Newsflash from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office on 15th February.

The Sheriff’s Ofice said in a statement, also obtained by Newsflash at the time when the incident happened: “McKay began shooting at deputies and deputies returned fire.

“McKay was involved in a single-vehicle traffic collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

“No deputies were injured during this incident and there are no outstanding suspects.

“The involved deputies will be placed on paid administrative leave according to Department policy. The names of the involved deputies will also not be released at this time.

The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office will lead this investigation together with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Force Investigations Detail.
