Pic shows: The teacher Laura Luelmo was reported as missed. The body of a woman teacher who has been missing for nearly a week has been found half naked in bushes. The body of Laura Luelmo, 26, was found by a walker near the small town of El Campillo in southern Spain's Huelva province. The beautiful brunette, who was found face down on the ground, had been missing since Wednesday 12th December. Local media quotes a source close to the investigation as saying it appeared her death had been violent. More than 200 volunteers helped in the search for the missing teacher who had only arrived in the town on 4th December. She was from the city of Zamora, in the Castile and Leon region of north-western Spain, and had come to the area for work. Ms Luelmo had landed a job as a teacher at the Vazquez Diaz institute in the nearby town of Nerva. The local resident who found her body immediately notified the Civil Guard which has launched an investigation into her death. Police have reportedly identified a possible suspect, a local resident with previous convictions for murder and robbery. Ms Luelmo's boyfriend, Teofilio Jimenez, said she had recently reported a suspicious looking man watching her enter and leave her house. Mr Jimenez is believed to have been the last person to speak to her in a telephone conversation in which she said she was going for a run. When officers searched her home, they found certain articles were missing, including sports clothes, shoes, keys, a mobile phone and a small purse. The police inquiry is focusing on the search for her missing phone and on talking to her neighbours in house-to-house inquiries. It is unclear if a sexual motive is suspected. A postmortem is scheduled to take place today. There are no details regarding the suspect yet.
