Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova has taken her dear grandmother to Paris for a beauty makeover to celebrate her 90th birthday.

Model and philanthropist Vodianova, nicknamed ‘Supernova’, shared the photos of her gran Larisa Gavrilovna on Instagram for her army of 2.4 million followers.

The 37-year-old said: “This coquette turns 90 today!”

According to local media, Vodianova’s French billionaire husband Antoine Arnault was around for the OAP’s visit and even pushed her around the Parisian streets in her wheelchair.

After a family stroll, the Russian model decided to take her gran to the famous Balmain Hair Salon to have her hair done.

Vodianova lives in the French capital with Arnault although she tries to visit her Russian hometown of Nizhny Novgorod whenever she can.

Last month, the model posted a video of her chopping wood while visiting the Alansky Epiphany Monastery in the south-western Russian republic of North Ossetia.

In the footage, Vodianova is seen wearing a long skirt and leather boots as she readies herself with the axe in hand.

Her 12-year-old son Victor is heard saying: “Mummy, pretend it is your worst enemy’s head.”

The supermodel then slices the log in two, and someone says: “Clean cut.”

She accompanied the video with the message: “My new favourite fitness routine.”

The Russian model also said that her grandfather taught her to chop wood when she was little, but there is nowhere to practice the skill in Paris where she lives.

The mother-of-five is famous for her rags-to-riches life story and seven-figure contract with Calvin Klein.

She came third in the Forbes top-earning models list in 2012, with the publication claiming she earned more than seven million GBP that year alone.
