This footage shows a Russian-Uzbek acrobatic performer apparently levitating while riding the Shanghai Metro.
Darina, born in Uzbekistan to Russian parents, now lives in the Chinese city of Shanghai, where she performs in acrobatic shows.
Darina, who first started working as a circus acrobat and aerial gymnast in 2013, shares videos of her routines on Instagram for her 11,000 followers.
In one of her recent videos, Darina is seen levitating while riding the tube. However, upon closer inspection, she is seen hanging from a handrail by her hair.
She explained that she wanted to take advantage of the time she spends travelling to work to practise the trick.
Darina said she has been performing the stunt for around six months and does not recommend that anyone else tries it without special training, as they could risk damaging their scalp and hair, and cause serious injury.
Darina told Newsflash: “My hair secrets will remain secret, but I basically hang from my hair.
“I’m a trapeze artist and I do dangerous stunts. Adrenaline is in my blood.
“The first thing I learnt was some simple acrobatic tricks on the ground. Then I started horse riding as well. But I always wanted to fly!
“When I tried trapeze for the first time, I realised this is what I needed to do. I love my work and when audiences look up at me in wonder.
“I also like to surprise people with dangerous and complex movements.”
She added that she loves living and working in Shanghai very much.
