A stepmother has been secretly recorded by a babysitter as she tortures her stepson because he had told his father she had been treating him badly.

The incident took place in the district of Cukurova in the province of Adana in Turkey after the unnamed eight-year-old boy complained to his father. 

But when his stepmother, identified only be her intials of C.A.A., found out , she apparently became even more angry.

The video filmed by the unnamed babysitter shows the stepmother jumping towards the boy and grabbing him by the neck as he desperately cries. The babysitter had reportedly wanted to expose what was going on when the dad was away.

The step mother tells the youngster: “I did not throw you out on the street for you to run up to your dad when he returned to tell him what I did.

“What else did you tell your father? Are you going to tell me or you want me to strangle you?”

“I am not going to repeat, tell me, I will make your head bleed, tell me!” 

The apparently scared boy is seen standing still and crying in front of the aggressive woman and her two biological children.

The boy was living with his father, identified by his initials H.A., after he got custody when divorcing the boy’s mother in 2016.

But after marrying C.A.A. the boy was allegedly beaten by her constantly.

After revealing the footage the eight-year-old was placed under protection of the state and an investigation has been opened.

The stepmother was reportedly detained and released pending trial. She has denied any wrongdoing, and told police she was only aiming to scare the child.
