This footage shows how a curious two-year-old girl stunned her family when she pulled down a huge steel frame on top of their heads.

Home surveillance cameras caught the playful toddler sneaking up behind the sofa at the family home in the city of Zhumadian, in the central Chinese province of Henan.

The CCTV footage from 8th November shows the two-year-old girl curiously getting to the edge of the couch and accidentally knocking down the steel frame which was standing backed up against the wall.

And the very next second the frame comes falling right on the family members’ heads.

The child’s mother, Ms Li, told local media that the family of four were eating at that time, so they did not notice the little girl poking around behind the couch.

She said that the giant frame was more than 3 metres by 2 metres big.

As it came tumbling down, it fell on her head and she wound up with a big, swollen bump, and the elder daughter’s hand was slightly injured.

But thankfully, the little girl was fine and no one was seriously harmed.

The video was later shared on Douyin – the Chinese version of TikTok.

Netizens put the majority of the blame on the parents, and user ‘Cubs!’ said: “The question is, how can there be such a steel pipe in the house? It is so dangerous.”
