STEEL STANDING: Bungling Son-In-Law Whacks Wife’s Dad Twice

This is the moment a bungling auto parts salesman injures his dad-in-law twice with the same steel bar.

CCTV footage from a store in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, shows salesman Andre Luiz as he rests a long metal bar against the front door on 9th January.

But within seconds, it slips down, whacking his partner’s dad Luiz Carlos Niegesk on the foot.

After howling in pain, he removes his shoe and sock to check his toes for injuries.

Andre, 20, apologises but then tries to prop up the bar in exactly the same spot again.

Again within seconds, it topples over once more, this time hitting Luiz, 64, on the back of his head.

As he winces in pain, he can be heard crying out: “Ai caramba!”

Andre later told local media: “It was an accident, I didn’t mean to do it.”

After watching the footage back, Andre, Luiz, and Luiz’s son Raphael – who also appears in the video – found it hilarious and decided to share it in the family messaging app group.

It quickly went viral, racking up millions of views.

Andre joked: “Someone from the family group posted it and it went on and on, and we became famous.

“To this day, I don’t know who posted it first, but on Twitter alone it had more than six million views, besides the other networks.”

He revealed the blunder did not cause any bad blood between him and his father-in-law or between him and Luiz’s daughter.

Andre joked: “He says I hit him because I wanted to inherit his old Santana and BRL 25,000 [GBP 4,000] in debt.”
