Spirit Airlines Blonde In Bikini Heads From Pool Party To Flight In Viral Video

A Florida-based American low-cost airline has moved to downplay a viral video showing a woman in a bikini and a face mask moving to catch one of their flights.

The video was posted on the “humansofspiritairlines” Facebook account showing the scantily clad blonde woman in a tiny green bikini checking her tickets as she heads to security in order to board a flight.

The video, which was posted two days ago, quickly went viral with people noting that at least it would not take too long to screen her for hidden items before allowing her to pass through the security checks seen in the background.

The video, which was posted on a social media account that often makes jokes about people who use the low-cost airline, was tagged with the headline: “When you have a pool party at noon and a Spirit Airlines flight to catch at 4pm.”

It was not revealed who the young woman was or why she was scantily clad, and Spirit Airlines were unable to reveal whether she would have breached their travel guidelines for being improperly dressed.

If it was one of their flights that she was catching, the regulations specify passengers must not be “barefoot or inadequately clothed” and should now wear clothing that could be seen as “lewd, obscene, or offensive in nature.”

Several commentators noted that she was at least complying with the mask mandate which could have seen her find between USD 250 and USD 1,500 if it was absent.

However, the airline stressed that the incident was unverified and they could not confirm it happening on one of their flights, telling the New York Post in a statement: “This account often falsely attributes photos and videos to Spirit Airlines. The video could have been taken at any time or any place and it has no identifying characteristic of any airline. I checked, and we have no record of this on file.”
