The Spanish Civil Guard has filed reports against five men who filmed themselves gathering together to drink around a fire and boasting about breaking the coronavirus lockdown.

According to local media, the Spanish Civil Guard identified five men between the ages of 22 and 23 who gathered in a field in the region of Alhama de Granada in the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain.

The footage, shared by the men on Instagram, shows the five men gathered around a fire and boasting about the good time they are having breaking the strict lockdown declared by the Spanish government on 14th of March.

The video is accompanied by the message: “In quarantine”

The identities of the five men on the video have not been reported but the Spanish CIvil guard are said to have filed reports against them for breaking the restrictions imposed by the government.

More than 350 people have been arrested in Spain for breaking the lockdown, according to reports.

According to the latest data from the Johns Hopkins University, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Spain has reached 88,110, with 6,803 deaths and 14,709 recovered.
