An ex-adult star who made headlines after her relationship with a German MP was exposed in media has claimed that her previous job left her feeling intellectually underchallenged.
Double-G-cup Annina Semmelhaack, aged 47, who used to perform in racy adult films as Annina Ucatis, also complained that her “complete personality was never noticed” as a porn actress.
She had raised eyebrows when she announced that she would run for the Free Democratic Party (FDP) in local elections in Elmshorn, Schleswig-Holstein, in 2023.
The 47-year-old economics graduate had reportedly starred in multiple pornographic films and was once a contestant on Promi Big Brother, Germany’s answer to Celebrity Big Brother, prior to announcing her political career.
Just weeks later she again made the front page after her relationship with Bundestag member Hagen Reinhold, 44, of the centrist Free Democratic Party was exposed in media by his partner of 16 years, Karoline Preisler, 51.
The 51-year-old lawyer and fellow FDP politician claimed her longtime partner leaving her and their three children for a porn star had left her ‘heartbroken’.
She then trashed the new couple by revealing to German media that the two were having an affair when she was still together with Reinhold.
Preisler added: “But I would have found it more respectful if the meetings hadn’t also taken place in my Berlin apartment and in my bed, next to the photos of our children that were on the shelf.”
The former porn star remained silent to the accusations but her new partner defended her honour by claiming that the two were reportedly single when they met through a mentoring programme run by the FDP-affiliated Friedrich Naumann Foundation.
Ucatis, who also runs her own real estate agency called Holsteiner Grund And Boden, was married to real estate billionaire Theodor Semmelhaack, 65, but the couple recently separated.
Meanwhile, bad publicity from the revelations about Preisler’s private life lost her the chance to succeed constitutional judge Andreas Dresen, after which she openly wished the new couple “a very beautiful, happy life.”
Following the ‘blessing’ Ucatis said: “It’s a great love and we’re going into a happy future together.”
It was in a recent interview with German newspaper Maerkische Allgemeine that the ex-adult film star opened up about her porn-acting career.
When asked about her previous job, she said: “You just have to fulfill all the clichеs.”
Semmelhaack then expressed her frustration by saying: “Many are quite surprised when you can connect three sentences.
“You can certainly understand that I quickly felt intellectually underchallenged, as my complete personality was never noticed.”
But although still at the beginning of her political career, the 47-year-old woman claimed she has a clear idea of what her goal is and said she aims to make a difference.
She said: “I see myself very clearly in economic policy and of course in the housing industry in particular.”
Concerning her current political party, she added: “For me personally, the Free Democrats stand for the values that also guide me in life – personal responsibility, tolerance, open-mindedness.”
