Six Saudi Men In Traditional Garb Beat Up McDonalds Workers Over Late Order

This is the moment six Saudi men in traditional garb beat up McDonald’s workers because their order was taking a long time.

The brawl was filmed at a McDonald’s restaurant on the Riyadh-Mecca highway near the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh, and was shared on Twitter on 2nd November where it has been viewed nearly 200,000 times at the time of writing.

In the CCTV footage, a suspect is seen raising a chair above his head before using it to hit a worker while another thug is seen pummelling an apparently unconscious employee lying on the floor behind the counter.

Several men then attack a male worker, possibly a senior member of staff, before leaving the McDonald’s. The man then goes to check on the motionless employee lying on the floor.

According to local reports, the group of Saudi men were in a rush to collect their order but they lost their temper when a worker told them they would have to wait like all the other customers.

One McDonald’s worker was knocked unconscious and taken to hospital where his condition is said to be stable. Other staff members suffered minor injuries in the attack.

McDonald’s said on Twitter: “Our restaurant and employees were attacked, and we would like to express our deep regret over what happened and assure that all our employees, thankfully, are fine.

“However, some of them sustained minor injuries and were treated immediately after the incident.”

Meanwhile, attorney general Saud bin Abdullah has called for the six suspects, whose identities remain unclear, to be arrested and prosecuted for the incident.
