A rapper shot his pregnant girlfriend dead three days after he was acquitted of murdering two men.

Evil Billy Bennett Adams III of Florida, USA, walked free on 27th January after a jury acquitted him of the fatal shooting of two men in a recording studio in 2020.

But just three days later, his girlfriend – 22-year-old Alana Sims – was found shot to death outside per parked SUV in New Tampa.

She was five months pregnant.

Her 18-month-old son was found asleep inside the vehicle.

Adams, 25, was seized on 8th February in connection with the slaying.

He initially denied involvement but finally admitted to killing his girlfriend.

He claimed she had pulled the gun on him and that he had wrested it from her and shot her in the head in self-defence.

But police believe he lured her with a lie to kill her and her unborn baby because he did not want her in his life and did not want a child.

Police said: “During the interview, it was discovered that the victim had planned to attend a party for her boyfriend on the evening of the murder.”

The party, she had been told, was to celebrate his acquittal.

Adams was acquitted of murdering Trevon Albury and Daniel Thompson while – in his version of events – they carried out an armed robbery on a recording studio.

But the studio owner told the jury how the two men and Adams arrived at his workplace together.

Adams – a rapper who performs under the name Ace NH – is now facing one charge of murder and another of killing an unborn child.

The victim’s devastated mother, Shahlevi Sims, wrote on a fundraising webpage: “Alana was a devoted mother who has a son who she loved very much. She was murdered on Monday the 30th.

“She was 5 months pregnant at the time and left behind a 2-year-old. Please help us out in this time of need. Anything is appreciated. God bless.”
