SEE YA LATER, GATOR: Texas Police Remove Trespassing Alligator From Business

This footage shows Texas cops on a dangerous rescue mission as they try to wrangle a loose six-foot alligator that intruded on a local business.

The images were obtained by Newsflash from the Lufkin Police Department, along with a statement according to which officers were dispatched to a local business in Lufkin, a city in the US state of Texas, after receiving a call about a trespassing alligator.

The statement said: “Officer Caleb Forrest is our resident alligator roper/wrangler while Officer Christian Ibarra kept his distance but assisted with the perp walk.”

Body-worn footage shows the two officers carefully approaching the wild reptile and slowly roping it in as it violently tries to free itself by twisting and rolling over on the ground.

“Kudos to the fabulous ladies from Animal Control – Officer Carol Cintula,” said the Lufkin Police, “for her awesome catcher pole skills and Alisha Holman coming in with the duct tape for the win.”
