This is the moment a hooded man in Saudi Arabia dressed in a US-flag outfit fires a machine gun in the air next to a frightened lioness surrounded by blood splatters leading to his arrest.

According to local media, the incident was filmed in the central Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh and the footage was later widely shared on social media where it caused outrage for seemingly idolising American gun culture.

In the video, a man dressed in a US-flag outfit and holding a machine gun is seen sitting on the bonnet of a blood-splattered jeep.

Meanwhile, a chained lioness is sitting on the floor among pools of blood.

The man starts shooting the machine gun and the frightened lioness scarpers.

The cameraman then films several other firearms inside the jeep.

Riyadh police have confirmed that a suspect named Abdullah Al Barqawi has been arrested for the incident.

Local residents reportedly filed a complaint about the use of firearms at the suspect’s home.

The investigation is ongoing.

One Twitter user said: “Look at the crime scene tape. It looks like he’s entirely into it!”

Another netizen commented: “This is not meant to be a YouTube video or anything, this is how he lives his life. He posts similar things every day using Snapchat.”
