Russian Soldiers Fight Back After Sudden Attack By Ukrainian Troops

The video purportedly shows Russian motorised infantry resisting a sudden attack by Ukrainian soldiers.

Servicemen from Russia’s Western Military District purportedly fought back with 12.7-millimetre belt-fed DShK machine guns after Ukrainian troops attacked them on 27th January.

The alleged attack happened near the city of Kupyansk, located in Ukraine’s Kharkiv Oblast.

Russia’s Ministry of Defence said in a statement obtained by Clipzilla: “In the battle, the servicemen opened fire to suppress the enemy with 12.7-millimetre DShKM machine guns.

“This forced the enemy infantry to lie low without the ability to manoeuvre.

“Afterwards, Russian soldiers used AGS-17 ‘Flame’ automatic grenade launchers on the suppressed enemy and completed its destruction.”
