This is the shocking moment a Russian taxi driver grabs a blonde woman that had climbed into his cab by the hair and drags her out before throwing her on the floor.
The incident when the man, who worked for ride share firm Yandex, was clearly not for hire was filmed near the Kashirskaya Plaza shopping centre in the Russian capital Moscow. The footage was then widely shared on the social network Telegram.
In the clip, the blonde woman is seen approaching the stationary taxi but as she tries to open the door, the taxi driver moves backwards.
With bags in one hand and the other on the door, she almost falls over and bangs her foot against the side of the door to let him know she is there.
This sends the cabbie into a rage and he angrily gets out and pushes the open door against the woman before roughly ejecting her from the back seat by her hair and dumping her on the icy street.
The taxi driver then chases her away from his car while saying “what else do you want?”
Neither party filed a complaint against the other.
However, after the video was widely shared online, the man who was identified by the name Maxim was reportedly fired from his driving job.
Maxim said what he did was justified as the woman was not a stranger, saying: “She was not a client. We have a relationship, she was drunk at the time.
“I wanted to leave her, but she tried to stop me by force. She damaged my property and was insulting. In response, I defended myself.”
He confirmed that he lost his job with the online company Yandex after the video was published by Russian media.
