These images show rock legend Alice Cooper playing golf in Germany before a gig.
This was the case during his last visit to Germany for a concert in Hamburg on Monday evening where the rock star played at the Barclaycard Arena in the Free City of Hamburg on Northern Germany.
Cooper, 71, who is known to be a keen golfer with a handicap of 2, was spotted getting in a round of golf at the Hamburger Land- und Golfclub located just to the south of Hamburg,
The golf club director Michael Paletta, 57, had invited the rock legend for a round of golf at his course.
Michael Paletta, 57, said: “My daughter Neele gave me two tickets for his concert as a Christmas present. As I knew Cooper was a big golf fan, I wrote to him on Instagram. It took quite a while but his management got back to me.”
Cooper took Paletta up on his invitation and played nine holes at 2 under par and at the end of the game said: “I recommend everyone to become a rock star. You work in the evenings and can play golf all day.”
The golf club posted two pictures of the star together with Paletta on its Facebook page with the caption: “Today we had visitors from the USA. Alice Cooper played nine holes at 2 under par. His guitarist Brian was not as good as him.”
