This is the hilarious moment a robot vacuum that spends all day cleaning up after the family dog gets revenge when the owners were not around – by sneaking up to it as it was laying down and biting on the tail.

The shot hound then lept up and tried to escape, but failed miserably as the robotic cleaner remained firmly chewing on the animal’s long white tail as it yelped and barked in terror.

The incident where online commentators laughed at the robot which was getting revenge for all the work the dog was creating reportedly happened while the others were out in Taiyuan city, in the Northern Chinese province of Shanxi.

The video of the incident was captured by a surveillance camera on 1st January.

It shows the dog by the door, waiting for its owners to come home and watching the robotic cleaner busily at work cleaning up dog care.

After completing the living room, the robotic cleaner seemingly set its sight on the dog, and makes a beeline for the dosing animal.

The dog initially ignored the robot as it made its way around presumably cleaning up hair. Then decided to tackle the problem at source, by trying to clean up the dog as well and seemingly chomping onto its tail.

The owner later said that the robot had actually sucked hair from the dog’s tail into its cleaning device and refused to let go. Making it seem as if it had bitten the dog’s tail.

As the video ends, the dog appears to have given up on the scene cowering in the corner with the robotic cleaner still chewing on its tail, and it remained like that until the owner turned up almost an hour later.

According to reports, the dog was in good condition since the roller brush that had grabbed the dog’s tail is made of silicone.

However, the animal was now a lot more nervous about the robotic cleaner than it had been before.

The dog is seemingly a Samoyed, a breed of medium-sized herding dogs with thick, white, double-layer coats.

The video that was posted on Douyin, China’s version of Tiktok received 32,000 likes. 77,000 shares, and 7953 comments.

A user ‘Ohh’ commented: “Robot: You’re the only one who sheds hair every day, right?”

While ‘Pot’ commented: “Robot: I can solve the problem of hair-shedding dogs!”

And ‘Yuding’ added: “The robot solved the problem from the source.”
