A retired cop who tried to pay for sex at a brothel with a block of cheese has been seized by police in Brazil.
The 58-year-old man – not named in local media – turned up wearing his old uniform and demanded an hour with a girl for BRL 200 (GBP 32).
But after sex with the 23-year-old hooker, he threw a piece of cheese on the bed with an old Nokia phone and told her that was her fee, reports local media.
When she told him she wanted cash he reportedly told her: “Are you going to slack off? I’m a policeman.”
He then fled when she began screaming after he locked her in her room.
Police in Belo Horizonte seized the suspect after a short chase through the red light district on 15th May.
But after talking to police, the brothel boss bizarrely accepted the cheese and the cell phone as payment and did not file a complaint.
Officers then had no choice but to let the 58-year-old swindler free and without charges.
The type of cheese was not specified.
