This pretty 28-year-old pop star is in hospital after her manager found her unconscious at home following a mysterious “goodbye” post she left on Instagram.

South Korean celebrity Goo Hara was found by her manager in the early hours of the morning after allegedly attempting suicide at her home in the neighbourhood of Cheongdam in the north-western capital Seoul.

The young pop star and influencer, with over 1.3 million Instagram followers, was hospitalised following the incident and is said to be in a stable condition.

Fans became worried the day before the reported suicide attempt when she mysteriously posted “goodbye” on her Instagram page.

Hara’s manager tried desperately to reach the young star and in end rushed round to her home where he found her unconscious in a smoke-filled room, according to local media.

In October 2018, she reportedly pressed charges against her former boyfriend Choi Jung Bum for allegedly assaulting her and blackmailing her with the release of a sex tape.

In a recent interview, Hara’s manager announced that the former ‘Kara’ band member has been battling depression.

He said: “We have been paying attention to her wellbeing. That’s why when she didn’t answer her phone I went to check on her immediately and I found her passed out on the floor.”

According to local media, fans speculated that she tried to overdose on pills last year.

In response to the rumours, her management said that she was on medication for insomnia and did not try to take her own life.
