This pretty mother-of-one has been strangled and stabbed to death by her jilted ex for simply posting this picture on social media in which she appeared happy.

Even more shockingly, the jealous man who killed her apparently lost his own mother when she was murdered by her partner.

Juana Cecilia Hazana Loayza, 34, was killed in a park in the city of Reggio Emilia in the Italian province of the same name on Friday, 19th November.

Her alleged killer is her ex-boyfriend, 24-year-old Mirko Genco, who travelled from the city of Parma in the neighbouring province of the same name with the apparent intention of killing her.

The trigger for the alleged crime is said to have been a smiling photo the victim posted on Instagram, with the suspect unable to accept she could be happy without him.

The photo that allegedly sealed her fate was reportedly taken at a dinner with a group of friends to help her forget the bad moments she had gone through because of her ex, reported Fanpage.

The alleged killer had reportedly been subject to a restraining order for stalking the victim, which he breached when he found the victim and forced her to follow him to the deserted park.

After allegedly strangling and stabbing her, he left her body in a pool of blood, with a local resident discovering it the following morning and calling the police.

Several stab wounds were found throughout her body including in her throat, which is believed to have been the fatal blow. The bloodstained alleged murder weapon was found nearby.

The police suspected the ex straight away, given the victim’s prior complaints against him that had resulted in two prior arrests, and he was arrested again.

During questioning, he confessed to the crime, telling officers he killed the victim over her smiling photo, according to Italy24 News.

The news outlet also reported that the suspect’s mother, Alessia Della Pia, was the victim of a femicide herself at the hands of her partner of Tunisian origin, Mohammed Jella.

The victim’s fatal beating and drowning took place in Parma in December 2015, when she was 39.

The victim of the latest crime reportedly worked at a cooperative in the town of Scandiano and leaves behind a son.

The suspect remains in custody as the investigation continues.
