Pennsylvania Man Follows Woman Home And Shoots At Her On Doorstep Because She Had Bumped Into Him

A Pennsylvania man has been arrested for following a woman home and shooting at her on her doorstep because she had bumped into him at a market.

The shooting took place in the city of Coatesville in Chester County in the US state of Pennsylvania on 26th January.

According to the Coatesville Police Department, the victim bumped into the suspect, named as Moenell Coleman, 26, at Coatesville Market, and apologised to him.

However, he “began to get irate [and] threaten to shoot her”, according to the police statement on 27th January.

The police said the concerned woman left the scene, but Coleman continued to threaten her as she walked back to her car.

She “travelled less than a block away to her residence” and the suspect “saw her park and approached her house”, according to the police, adding: “She opened the door and he fired multiple shots at her standing in the front door.”

The police said she was “grazed by a bullet in her right leg”.

Meanwhile, the victim’s brother, name not reported, who was in the house at the time, “was struck by a bullet” and taken to Paoli Hospital, while his sister was treated at the scene.

Coatesville Police Department said: “As a result of the investigation, Moenell Coleman was identified as the shooter in this crime and charged with two counts of attempted murder, aggravated assault, felon not to possess and related charges.

“Coleman’s last place of residence in Coatesville City was searched and produced evidence of the crime.

“Coleman was not present and is considered armed and dangerous.”

The manhunt continues.
