Beautiful Woman, 29, Is Happy Modelling Old Peoples Clothes But Her Mum Doesnt Like Them And Prefers To Dress Younger

This beautiful 29-year-old woman has been working as a model for middle-aged and elderly clothing for 11 years and she loves her job, despite her mother preferring to dress younger and turning her nose up at the clothes her daughter poses in for photoshoots.

The model, who has been named as Liang Xiaoqing, 29, and who is from the Chinese capital Beijing, had only dreamed of having one of two jobs ever since she was a young child. She either wanted to be a flight attendant or a fashion model.

In the end, she chose to become a model and did not shy away from taking lengthy rides on public buses, sometimes stopping at over 40 bus stops, to find work modelling clothes on catwalks.

The model, who is 1.70 metres (5’7″) tall, was once asked by a studio if she would consider modelling clothing designed for middle-aged and elderly people.

She confessed that at the time, she was “really unhappy”. She said: “I felt that the clothes were ugly, and my hairstyle didn’t look good.”

But the jobs are well paid, and on one occasion, she even made RMB 2,500 (GBP 293) in just one day.

She said: “At the time, my small wallet became so thick with notes that I could not even zip it up!”

The attractive young woman was one of the first young models, according to local media, to model clothes for older people, and one of the items she wore for the camera became a hit, selling over 90,000 items.

Liang Xiaoqing quickly became popular in the industry.

She said: “I never thought that I could develop in this industry. When I was 18, I just wanted to take some photos of myself looking good and earn some pocket money. Although I didn’t become a flight attendant or a fashion model, I became a middle-aged and elderly model.”

The young woman is extremely busy and sometimes wears hundreds of items of clothing every day for photoshoots, sometimes only sleeping three or four hours per night.

In the fashion industry in China, most models modelling older people’s clothes are reportedly in their 30s and 40s, with people modelling “grandma clothes” often in their 50s.

This makes the young woman somewhat of an exception.

She explained that she luckily had a decent head start in the industry, saying: “E-commerce models were very low-end at the time, and no one wanted to shoot. In addition, they were middle-aged and elderly clothes, and everyone looked down on them.

“Everyone thought it was ridiculous to be a middle-aged and elderly model. So the competition was relatively small, the industry was almost at the beginning, and I had a head start.”

She added that when she puts on the clothes and has her makeup done, she transforms into an “emotionless camera machine that can take hundreds of poses a minute”.

She reckons that the maximum she has ever worn in one day is 400 pieces of clothing, with pictures being taken of approximately 40 pieces of clothing every hour.

But she confided that her mother, whose name she did not reveal, “likes to dress younger, and thinks the clothes I photograph look old.”

But she really likes her job nonetheless because she can now “support herself” and “buy anything she wants”.

Some netizens joked that her good looks had tricked their mothers into buying lots of clothes.
