This is the moment women scream in fear after a huge snake got in their home toilet.

The incident was filmed at a residential complex in the city of Fuzhou in the south-eastern Chinese province of Fujian on 21st June.

According to the news site Baidu, one of the family members spotted the snake’s head rising out of the bowl when they went to use the toilet.

A complex worker arrived with long tools including a clamp to catch the troublesome reptile.

The complex worker said that the snake had been captured and killed, adding that it probably crawled along a pipeline.

The area is currently being checked for possible nests.

In the footage, the snake is seen with its head poking up from the U-bend as a man stands over the toilet with a plunger in his hand and at least two women shriek in the background.

At one point, the snake slides back along the U-bend and disappears from view.

In the next scene, the huge snake writhes in the toilet bowl after being clamped against the side of the toilet ahead of being put down.
