This is the moment a driver loses control of his McLaren supercar on a Singaporean motorway and crashes into the barrier, apparently taking off into the air.
The incident took place on Singapore’s East Coast Parkway motorway near the area of Changi on 7th July.
The driver of the supercar was hospitalised after the crash.
In the footage of the accident, shared on Facebook on 11th July, the white supercar is seen veering across three lanes on the motorway before crashing into the barrier, and apparently taking off high into the air.
According to reports, the vehicle landed among the plants on the road divider and was so mangled that its original shape could not be determined.
Online commentators said the supercar was a McLaren 720S that can from zero to 100kph in around three seconds.
The police said the driver was conscious after the crash and was taken to Raffles Hospital for medical attention.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
The McLaren 720S is the second all-new car in the McLaren Super Series, replacing the 650S from May 2017.
The 720S was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2017 and is built on a modified carbon structure that is lighter than the previous 650S.
