Moment Roof Is Hurled Into The Air After Gas Blast

This is the astonishing moment the roof of a house is blown off in a gas explosion at a newly built property.

Footage obtained by Newsflash from the security camera of another house across the street documents how the roof framing of the single-family home is hurled several feet into the air in the detonation in Malgobek, a town in Ingushetia, Russia.

Photographs documenting the aftermath of the explosion show firefighters determining the damage to the structurally complete house.

Several long attic joists have been thrown on the floor. Substantial cracks have devastated the building’s walls.

Two people were injured in the incident.

The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Ingushetia said in a statement released on 7th February obtained by Newsflash: “In Malgobek, the Investigative is examining the explosion of a gas-air mixture in a private residential building.”

The statement continues: “On the morning of 7th February 2024, as a result of an explosion of a gas-air mixture, a fire occurred in a private household located on Tsurova Street.

“As a result of the incident, a 65-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man who were in the house were injured. The victims were taken to the hospital where they are receiving the necessary assistance.”

There has been no detailed information on their condition.
