This is the moment a restaurant manager in the Bronx borough of New York City is stabbed in the face by an angry customer and New York cops have offered a USD 3,500 award for information that could lead to the suspect’s arrest.

The incident was caught on CCTV and it was shared online by the New York Police Department (NYPD) who captioned the footage: “WANTED for ASSAULT: On 7/23/21 at approx. 11:30 PM, inside 2104 Crotona Pkwy @NYPD48PCT Bronx. The suspect cut the face of a Texas Chicken employee with a sharp object while he was working. Any info call or DM NYPDTips at 800-577-TIPS. Reward up to $3,500.”

The suspect, who can be seen wearing a Yankees cap in the footage, can be seen standing at the counter of the restaurant, which is reportedly called Crotona Parkway Texas Chicken and Burgers, located in the Bronx borough of New York City, in the eastern US state of New York.

The attack happened on 23rd July at approximately 11:30 PM but police have just released the footage now in a bid to track down the suspect.

The suspect can be seen in the footage suddenly pulling an unidentified weapon from his pocket, which appears to be a knife, and lunges at the restaurant manager, who he injures.

The victim, who has not been named but who is reportedly 18 years old, was taken to the Saint Barnabas Hospital and is reportedly in a stable condition.

It is currently unclear why the attacker decided to stab the restaurant manager and no arrests had been made at the time of writing.
