This is the moment an enraged ex-husband repeatedly stabs his former wife in the hairdresser’s where she works sending blood splattering across the floor.
The shocking incident was caught on CCTV and took place in the city of Vladikavkaz, which is the capital city of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania in Russia, leaving the woman fighting for her life in hospital after her heart stopped three times.
In the video, 31-year-old Vadim Tekhov can be seen speaking to his ex-wife Regina Gagieva, 22, in the hairdresser’s where she works.
The pair appear to be arguing when Tekhov apparently pulls a knife and begins ramming it into Gagieva’s body.
She tries to fight back but he wrestles her to the ground and begins hacking at her with the blade, with blood splattering all over the floor.
The thug then runs away as the victim is left in a pool of her own blood. Local media report she was taken to the Republican Clinical Hospital where doctors report her heart stopped beating three times. She is now breathing with the help of a ventilator.
A manhunt was launched for the suspect but he is said to have quickly handed himself in and confessed to the crime to investigators.
Police have opened a case for attempted murder. According to local media, the ex-husband became jealous after looking at the woman’s texts on her phone.
Local media report the suspect has previously been convicted of drug trafficking and intentional grievous bodily harm.
