A herd of camels rhas been filmed as they run through the snow and thick mist in a Saudi Arabian desert region following a month of unusual weather patterns.

The incident was filmed in northern Saudi Arabia by netizen Khalid Al Hawawi who posted the clip on social media where it has been widely shared.

In the footage, a herd of camels is seen running along snowy desert lands while thick brooding clouds fill the sky.

At the end of the video, the herd disappears into a thick cloud of mist covering the icy ground.

According to reports, Saudi Arabia’s northern region of Ha’il has experienced a month of unusual weather with severe storms, heavy rain and snowfall.

Last week, the country’s General Directorate of Civil Defence issued alerts in several regions in Saudi Arabia, including Ha’il, Eastern Province and Aseer Province.

Images of the country’s unusual weather have been circulating on social media.
