Moment Bus Crashes Into Back Of Tractor Carrying Hundreds of Bamboo Logs That Impale It

This is the moment a bus crashes into the back of a tractor carrying hundreds of thick bamboo poles that spear almost the entire length of the bus at the same time as killing the unfortunate driver of the tractor.

The incident took place in Baizhu Town, which is located in Gaoyao District, in Zhaoqing City, in southern China’s Guangdong Province, on the afternoon of Tuesday 7th December.

CCTV cameras recorded the incident and the footage shows a bus driving along a road at speed when it suddenly rear end is a tractor carrying a load of bamboo logs, as the sound of screeching brakes can be heard. The logs become impaled in the front of the bus and the vehicle comes to a stop by the side of the road.

Aftermath footage shows the long bamboo logs impaled deep into the blue bus.

The tractor driver, who has not been named, died on the spot, according to local media.

A grandmother, who has not been named, who was travelling inside the bus at the time of the incident, was reportedly lightly injured but the exact extent of her injuries is currently unclear.

No other injuries were reported. The bus was said to have not been carrying many people.

The police are investigating the incident.
