This is the heartwarming moment four men who clean windscreens at traffic lights duck for cover and fight back in an adorable water fight with a group of children on a bus.

The unusual scenes were filmed at a busy intersection in the city of Durango in the north-western Mexican state of the same name where four ‘squeegee men’ were washing windows.

On the hot summer’s day, the group became embroiled in a lighthearted water fight with schoolchildren at the back of a bus stuck in traffic.

The kids were conveniently armed with water pistols and the windscreen washers had their filled bottles at the ready.

Footage of the two teams dousing each other with water was posted on Twitter and was widely shared by netizens.

In the clip, the four squeegee men are seen praying water up at the bus’ windows where several young sharpshooters have their water pistols pointing out.

At one point, the jovial cleaners hide behind the back of the bus to confuse their rivals while the camerawoman is heard laughing at their exploits.

She also comments that she is “laughing a lot” as the youngsters are heard shouting whenever they are sprayed with water.

Netizen ‘1Kpax’ said: “There is a magical innocence in those beautiful scenes, I wish this kind of thing featured on the news more often.”

‘Rockstargdl007’ wrote: “This is how all conflicts should be resolved, water guns and high spirits.”

‘Jrgpaezs’ said: “I wish this was the only ‘violence’ we saw in our country.”
